Bottle… Murky yellow ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Great retention. The aromatics are of spicy, musky hops. Medium to full-bodied with dancing carbonation. The flavor offers bitter, earthy, flavorful hops, but not much else. Finishes bitter and is somewhat drying. Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2010
750ml bottle. Pours a hazy, glowing, yellowish-orange golden hue. A small, patchy, off-white head leaves behind minimal lacing spots and skinny flares. The aroma is based in dry pale malt and distinct rice grain, hopped generously with notes of clean citrus, bright grasses, and hints of tropical fruit. It’s quite resinous and perfumy, and the rice really does a nice job of drying things out. Flavors are crisp, bright, and lemony, hinting at grapefruit rind, bitter green grass, and zesty white pepper. There’s a little toffee sweetness in the background, but the rice comes across distinctly and changes the profile considerably. Medium-light bodied and nearly bone dry, the palate sports a moderate carbonation and crispness that suits this brew well. Good stuff. Totally unique. Big Flavor and aroma, this golden goddess was terrific. Loved the citrus notes along with the bitterness this was a big IPA great drinking.
Draft @ Copper Mine. Orange pour with some white head. Aroma is full of citrus, pineapple, and light earthy pine notes. Flavor start with plenty of those hop notes and mellows in the aftertaste. Best exit beer yet. HighlanderOne (1344) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - MAY 30, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2010 Poured from big bottle. Exit 16 - right by my house. Big hit of hops in aroma. Lighter color and clearer than most IPAs. Lots of hops, as expected - grapefruit and pine. Only notice the alcohol after swallowing. Rice adds to the balance very well. Finished well. Excellent.

Made the mistake of drinking this after a real DIPA this afternoon, Moylans. The difference was AMAZING! Even my Glissade swillin buddys were in shock. Cute little light colored brew with some floral hop flavors and aromas and a genteel spicey bite in the finish. Not sure how FF can call this a DIPA? The Moylans made it look like a rookie play. Nice but a tad tame?? Oh well. stef92 (128) - Williamstown, New Jersey, USA - MAY 19, 2010
Thes best yeat of the Exit series from Flying Fish. Deep amber color with thick lasting head. Malty and fruity aroma. Hoppy and slightly sweet fruity flavor. very well balanced and tasty. Definitely no Meadowlands swamp water in this stuff!
