A: The pour is a pale golden color with a light haze and a very fluffy white head on top.
S: A very intense citrus aroma which is primarily grapefruit, along with a touch of tropical fruits such as pineapple. A light sweetness and perhaps a bit of pine.
T: I was a bit disappointed that the flavors did not quite live up to the nose, but the components were quite similar. The bitterness was more pronounced than I would expect with the pine and grapefruit being the primary hop contributions.
M: Fairly light in body, which is likely due to the rice used in the brewing of the beer. A nice crisp and moderate level of carbonation.
D: A really nice IPA from the side of the country that I generally shy away from in regards to the style. A really excellent nose and a nice beer to try. bhensonb (15498) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 27, 2012
