The aroma is a bit biscuity with hints of soap, fruit, and funk. The appearance is pale gold with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with both good malts and not so good ones. The hops are there but the bitterness is odd. The palate is thin. I like only the biscuit taste not much else.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a semi-burnt orange/copper color. Fingers worth of white foamy head. Messy lace. The aroma starts off with some sweet orange zest, some lemon peel and then some grassy hops. Caramel and toffee malts play with the balance along with some breadiness. The flavor leans malty sweet with a nice clean taste upon my tongue. Well balanced in the aftertaste and leads well into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine as it is. Overall, good American pale ale that I could come back to if given the chance.

12 oz. bottle dated best by 5/17/16 so assumed to be 6 months old. Into a tulip A: Poured mostly clear orange tinted gold with a small tight head. Nice retention and lace. Little carbonation visible. S: Simple malty roast bread smell. Not much else. T: A bit of citrus (orange zest?) is quickly overwhelmed by pine. Well balanced light flavors. M: Light bodied with a slightly resinous short finish. Lightly crisp carbonation. O: Not much to this but certainly not bad. Typical pale ale flavors with nothing overdone. Overall though, underwhelming.

Pours a clear golden with a fair white head which lingers and laces......aroma of malt, touch of corn, lighter note of sweet malt.....taste is clean start, earthy bittering, tailing off into a slightly rough finish. Fairly nice excepting the finish.

12 fl. oz. bottle. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a medium, creamy, short lived off-white head. Grainy aroma with hay, bread and a hint of fruit. Sweet, mild grain flavour with caramel and a dry, slightly sour finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Nothing special.
