Very simple mild beer. Easy light summer drinking but nothing really unique or special. BillsmafiaCO (17) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 25, 2015

Can. Decent overall beer. Average carbonation. Average hop and malt flavor. Clean finish. No outstanding qualities, but no off flavors either. Aggiebob (1384) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JUL 8, 2015
Bottle: It poured a golden color with a thin white head. The aroma was grainy with some spicy hops. The taste had some light fruit in it. It was enjoyable to drink. Larry_Duffman (618) - - JUN 12, 2015
I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours golden with a small white head. The aroma was grainy. The taste was crisp, bready, and some honey sweetness. It was good cold as a summer beer. As it warmed up, it wasn’t as enjoyable.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2015 For an ale very flavorful. Hay yellow color. Thick on the tongue. Small bitters and light hops. Also has an ending of granny smith apple peel. Tap altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - MAY 2, 2015
On tap at MusselBar. Okay. A bit bland really. Watery nose and weak forgetful taste. Happy trails. sloshgator (770) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 30, 2015
Flying Fish Farmhouse Summer Ale is ok but nothing to rave about. Slight lemony aroma coming from a bright yellow pour. Head fizzes a bit on the pour but quickly dissipates to nothing. Taste is a little funky and somewhat lemony making it refreshing but kind of thin. Farmhouse Summer Ale seems to have some execution problems -- could definitely be better. Undated 12oz bottle; sample courtesy of Perry County Beer. Pours yellow gold, very small head that dissipates into a ring. Tulip glass gives an earthy, grassy, lightly spiced, Belgium-y aroma. The body is light and refreshing. The bitter chewy wheat fore-taste quickly balances with obviously dry Belgium yeast aftertaste. The taste is certainly muted for it’s 4.6abv, but that’s the charm to this very drinkable summery outdoorsy light farmhouse ale. Travlr (26405) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 7, 2015
Draft. Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma has light fruit, white pepper, straw. Taste is lightly spiced straw, dry finish. Interesting.
