I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours golden with a small white head. The aroma was grainy. The taste was crisp, bready, and some honey sweetness. It was good cold as a summer beer. As it warmed up, it wasnt as enjoyable.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2015 For an ale very flavorful. Hay yellow color. Thick on the tongue. Small bitters and light hops. Also has an ending of granny smith apple peel. Tap

On tap at MusselBar. Okay. A bit bland really. Watery nose and weak forgetful taste. Happy trails.

Flying Fish Farmhouse Summer Ale is ok but nothing to rave about. Slight lemony aroma coming from a bright yellow pour. Head fizzes a bit on the pour but quickly dissipates to nothing. Taste is a little funky and somewhat lemony making it refreshing but kind of thin. Farmhouse Summer Ale seems to have some execution problems -- could definitely be better.

Undated 12oz bottle; sample courtesy of Perry County Beer. Pours yellow gold, very small head that dissipates into a ring. Tulip glass gives an earthy, grassy, lightly spiced, Belgium-y aroma. The body is light and refreshing. The bitter chewy wheat fore-taste quickly balances with obviously dry Belgium yeast aftertaste. The taste is certainly muted for its 4.6abv, but thats the charm to this very drinkable summery outdoorsy light farmhouse ale.

Draft. Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma has light fruit, white pepper, straw. Taste is lightly spiced straw, dry finish. Interesting.

Pours pale yellow with a one finger white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of cercel malts, grassy hops, sweet malts, pils malts, and some fruits. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium light body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, medium-short finish. Overall, a decent blonde ale that would be nice on a hot summer day.

"Light cereal and flowery hops are the main players with an ever so slight bit of funk tartness and Belgian spice thrown in the mix. Some fruity pear and dust as well. meh. Lighter than I prefer, but it is a summer seasonal after all."

Bright golden with slight white head. Subtle aroma, light yeasty, fruity, malty. Lemony. Grassy. Light malty. Very light pepperiness. Light dryness. Bigger light body. Pleasant warm weather beer. Good companion with food.

Pours a very pale, clear light yellow. Earthy aroma. Earthy malt flavor that ends a little bitter, like dirt. Interesting, light summer beer, but I wont be drinking this again.
