3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Date tasted: July 7, 2013... Glassware: Rare Vos shaker... Occasion: lazy Sunday, post mattress-shopping peace....Appearance: nice golden copper body with subtle effervescence; white sudsy lacing--a good start... Aroma: lemony zest on top of a crisp, clean hop aroma; some lawn mower clippings are hinted at... Palate: medium-bodied, with a presence late at the throat; a pillow-quality body, perfect for this heat... Taste: not much in the way of complexity; grassy notes at the end with some herbal/floral hints--but oddly maltier than a saison usually is... Overall: a low alcohol (4.6 ABV) allows this to be a pleasant pre-lawn mowing brew; the overall experience is within its genre....

Poured from 12oz bottle a slightly hazy medium gold with a large head of foam that shrunk quickly but left a solid layer throughout the session.
The smell is malty with good notes of earthiness.
The taste has some lemony bitterness up front from the hops followed by a good sweet malt presence with some biscuit flavour. The finish is quite dry. Unusual tasting beer and I'm glad I got to try it thanks to jwc215.

Draft at Two Mile Restaurant in Wildwood Crest, NJ who by the way had a good draft beer menu if you’re in the area. This beer was on point with what I expected for a "Farmhouse". . . .good head. . .bread, a little hops, and something earthy maybe herbal in the aroma. . . taste was a sweet and a touch of sour, i.e. "farmhouse". . . .good beer that I would try again. crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 15, 2017
355ml bottle. Surprised this isn’t actually a saison. Golden pour. Aroma is bready with herbal hops, pleasant. Falvor is sweeter, herbal, very hoppy but not bitter, herbal hoppy, bit too sweet but decent. tightslice (1525) - Redwood City, California, USA - MAY 6, 2017
Bottle from Total Wine in Mountain View, CA. Aroma is grassy, mild lemon, some soggy biscuits. Taste is grassy and chalky, stale biscuits. Coming from NJ and thinking they’re an underdog craft brewer, I really wanted to like this more...reminded me of some commercial brewer attempting a farmhouse. Weak and unappealing. mansquito (7127) - Nueva York, New York, USA - APR 16, 2017
From a can: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is hay, light grass, light farmy. Taste is lightly sweet. Low grassy bitterness. Not bad.

Clear gold body with a high carbonation. Thin white head. Nose is mildly hoppy. Flavour is equally as unexciting nuplastikk (6511) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2016
12oz bottle. Month past expiration. Zesty lemon herbal aroma. A pinch oxidized. Kind of like a filtered US Wheat with some perfumey saison/belgo yeast. Not that impressive. dredmond (179) - Long Island, New York, USA - JUL 3, 2016
Drank Fourth of July weekend 2016, from cousin in NJ, surprising achievement of flavor from the yeast and hop selection and combo, no additional flavoring ingredients apparently

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with decent white head. Aroma of light fruits, with hint of heat and spice. Taste of light fruit, mild malt sweetness and dash of pepper. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, crisp, clean and refreshing. Has a nice fresh feel. Good summer time beer. gripweed57 (2966) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - OCT 22, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Bright gold color. Small creamy white head. Fruity, bready malt nose. Light tart wheat malt flavor. Light in body with a yeasty touch. Notes of apricot and earthy hops. Soft dry finish.
