3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Golden in color with a with a decent white head. Complex, light piney hop aroma. Moderately sweet malty backbone with a dry hoppiness.
A nice beer overall, not as strong in taste and booziness as most bourbon barreled beers. Pours a beautiful deep orange-Amber with a white head. Smells herby, of green apples. Taste is more green apples, herbs, lemon, with sole vanilla and a hint of bourbon in the finish. Had in the bottle. Beerdedone (3457) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2015

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed golden color with a two finger thick and billowy white head. The head fades relatively quickly leaving a decent level of ring foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is light overall and is of the biggest of a wheat cracker like aroma mixed with a bit of yeast and a moderate showing of some lemongrass smells. Some sweeter orange is there as well rounding out the wheat and lemongrass nicely.
Taste – The taste begins with a wheat and more lemon like taste mixed with a bit of orange citrus. As the taste advances a little bit of a tasted bread flavor comes to the tongue. Along with the toasted bread some of the wheat fades with it being replaced by some flavors of a little bit of yeast and some grassy hop flavors. Toward the end the lemon and grass combined to produce a rather stronger lemongrass flavor and with a little bit of graininess coming to the tongue, a rather dry citrus wheat flavor is left to linger on the tongue
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer one the slightly creamier side for a wheat beer of 6.2 % abv with a carbonation that is on the slightly lower side. While traditionally a higher carbonation and slightly thinner body may be more appropriate, the combination in this beer actually accentuated the wheat and grass over the fruit and overall made for a pretty nice feel.
Overall – A rather easy drinking wheat beer. Nothing exceptional, but a nice drinker none the less.

12 oz bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of citrus, malts and grain. Taste is citrus and malts. John25 (1291) - Middletown, New Jersey, USA - AUG 2, 2014
Bottle. Slightly clouded bright gold. Aroma is crisp tangerine and melon with wheat. The taste adds dry pilsner malt characteristics and tropical fruit with a resin note and a hint of yeasty banana spice on the finish. High carb with a clean mouthfeel. The pilsner and wheat malts complement the fruity esters and hops very well. Nice job flying fish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Jayb0 (1218) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - JUL 29, 2014
Quite good, nose of soft fruits and melon. well balanced malt and wheat character, a bit grassy, some hints of a hefe, nice hopping, maybe a tiny tad sweet, but finishes well.
