Had at “Julie Christmas” with the whole Lawrence family
Poured from a Growler
Look: clear and light with a small head.
Nose: mostly belgian yeast with cloves and spice
Taste: pretty sweet. Cloves, candied fruit and lots of banana.
Palate: medium slick body. Not too much carbonation. Very drinkable.
Overall: I really like this one. Big and complex flavor. Pumpkin87 (250) - - DEC 17, 2017
Clear gold color with very little head presages the crisp, unfussy appeal of this beer.
Nose is spicy cookies with whiff of apple, but the palate presents more traditional banana and clove. A hint of citrus provides some backbone without undue bitterness.
Very nice seasonal treat that could hold up in warmer weather too. Nero55 (950) - Nevada, USA - MAY 18, 2017
