Bottle into a ale glass. Pour is a light Amber with a head that drops off to nothing. Aroma isn?t as bitter as a ipa should be. Taste is a nice hoppy and sweet malt mix. Finish is a warm bitter.
Draft. Poured CCC, MFWH NO GL. MB aroma. MB with ST and SC. MB flavor with a MB finish of M duration. Good brew. Itzjerm (2794) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - APR 27, 2017
This isn’t a bad beer... just a bad ipa. Very malty and full bodied. Very light on the hop flavor. Sweet very sweet. at best a pale ale. Good carbonation. wombat23 (1362) - Texas, USA - APR 12, 2017
Shared 12 oz. bottle. Best by 4/21/2017. Pale gold, off-white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel. Taste is rather bland, with citrus, caramel, grapefruit notes, earth, and soap. darbeer75 (887) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - APR 12, 2017

Pours with a one-finger bubbly white head that fades slowly a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Medium bodied & medium carbonation. Light grapefruit hop nose. Flavor starts with sweet caramel malt and late grapefruit hops, slight bitter aftertaste. Gift 12oz bottle. Rex_Remes (204) - Bonyhad, HUNGARY - JAN 31, 2017
(12oz bottle) AROMA: hoppy, fruit ice cream, sweet malt/corn, hint of smokey. APPEARANCE: golden Amber, mostly clear, just a tad hazy, creamy pale white head, some lacing. TASTE: toasty malt, some coffee/toffee, dry citrus rind, creamy black cherry, light resin, soft hop finish. PALATE: medium body, fresh upfront, clean, not overly bitter or dry. OVERALL: this IPA leans a bit towards the malts, good ale look and feel, very drinkable. Definitely more English-style, as described. Not as big as many Amercan-style IPAs but still has decent body and complexity. so this is less of a sipping ale. Would make a good every day, hearty beer. ffaoe (780) - Moorestown, New Jersey, USA - DEC 13, 2016
light balanced malt/hop aroma. gold and clear in color with fast fading head. taste is hop forward but had malt background to balance flavors of resinous hops and caramel malts. teorn88 (7671) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 13, 2016
Not sure why I never rated this. Had multiple bottles of this when studying at UPenn, 2009. One of my first American IPAs. It pours a clean rich golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is resinous and lightly malty with notes of pine cones caramel and resin. Taste is medium sweet with a nice malty backbone and a clean bitter resinous hop presence. It’s a classic West Coast style IPA with good malts and resinous hops. Would not love it today probably, but did enjoy it back then. Slipstream (2608) - USA - SEP 8, 2016
Decent IPA, on the light side. Pretty dry, grassy taste. Amber pour and a fast dropping, fluffy head.
