COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First released in 2002, and sold out in two weeks. A tribute to the classic Fest styles of Germany the O’Fish uses European malts hops and yeast. A beautiful reddish color, a savory malt profile and nice hop flavor, make this Fest beer quite drinkable. OktoberFish is great with food and especially great with Lederhosen.

Yeast: Dusseldorf Alt
Original Gravity: 14.3 Plato

BeerdedDave (1676) - Beckley, USA - SEP 24, 2015
amber color; hoppy aroma; a well balanced beer; biscuity, caramel malt and noble hops with a bit of an underlying fruitiness and some spice notes; dry, bitter finish

has a bit of a grain malt aroma. Taste is some sort of malts with a mild pine hop. pretty average.

skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 18, 2015
Pours copper-amber with a one finger off white head which quickly fades to very little lacing. Aroma is of toasted bready malts, caramel, sweet malts, toffee, grass and earthy hops, and some citrus zest. Taste is pretty malty with a light hop profile of some earthy citrus and spiciness in the background. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a decently tasty beer that is pretty solid for the style.

State ticking. 12 to go. NJ via AZ from my mum to WI. Lots of nutty and biscuity malt flavor. Nice German style. Not over the top American caramel malt bomb.

A mild rust aroma with a tinge of barley. Pours brown with mediocre head and lacing. Touch of mash malt in finish. Bottle, probably a little past prime.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine & More - Gilbert, AZ. Orange-amber and clear appearance with a white head. Earthy, lightly malty and light bitter with Munich malts providing a touch of caramel and toffee. Light to medium body with a crisp, carbonated feel. Pretty solid rendition here.

djaquay (138) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Dark amber pour under a nice tan head, nicely sweet, mild bitter, even the wife likes it.

2.4
Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - NOV 21, 2014
Pours a thin head on a clear straw body. The aroma is a confusing mixture of candy and malt. The taste is candy sweet, mild grain and touch of bitter. Quite sweet overall. The texture is sticky. It’s really sweet without balance.
