Light pepper some clove a bit of funk and earth. Light citrus light malty sweetness. Not as good as the last one. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 14, 2010
Growler at BBD 09- I think maybe the brewer brought this? Pours a deep hazy amber- I think it was supposed to be more of a brown saison- thinning head. Aroma is a nutty doughy bread with light hints of roast and burnt bread- light toffee sweetness, crackery with some DMS hints- a bit vegetal. Flavor is earthy, toffee, light sweetness, toasted malts, phenolic grassy yeast with light peppery notes, more grass and vegetal as it warms light fruit, nuts and DMS- finish is fairly dry. Ok. jcwattsrugger (12450) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 20, 2009
on tap-pours a white ring for a head and hazy gold color. Aroma is tart medium fruit, light malt, yeast. Taste is tart lemon, vinegar, light malt, yeast. Farmhouse meets lambic.
