Handpull cask at the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Light copper, clear with a good-sized white head. Lovely nose: seawater, cooking herbs, a touch of citrus, some sulphur. The taste however is a serious sulphur bomb. Tastes like eggy water. Slight carbonation on the palate with an astringent aftertaste. Not particularly keen even if I have to admit it's well-made for the style.

Cask @ The Royal Oak, Shrewsbury. Pours a generally clear gold, small white head. Aroma of sweetish pale malts. Taste continues with a moderately sweet malt character, light bready elements. Straightforward bitter.

Tap at Swan Inn, Farnborough. 07/10/16. Slightly malty aroma. Bright amber. Big washing up liquid head. Initially sweet, with a touch of bitterness. The sweetness than gains in strength. Fruit, hops and herbs. Light bodied, soft carbonation. Really enjoyed this.

Bottle from local deli. Pours bright orange with head of big yellowy bubbles. Very fizzy. Weak but pleasant aroma - citrus, mellow malt and floral notes. Watery on the palate but very drinkable - good summer session beer.
