750ml capped bottle pours black in colour with a finger and a half of light beige head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is chocolate and light roasted grains with raspberries. Taste is a chocolate malty sweetness with a light roasted grain bitterness and raspberry tartness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a well balanced and tasty brew.

Bottle. Clear dark brown body, medium chocolate head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of condensed milk, vanilla chocolate, raspberries and cocoa. Taste of tart raspberries, vanilla milk chocolate, cocoa and roasted malts. Very well done.

Metalchopz (3313) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 12, 2017
Pours a dark brown colour with amber-ruby higlights. Nice creamy, mocha head, long lasting with some great lacing. The smell reminds me of the Big Turk chocolate bar with the raspberry jelly and cocoa notes. The taste shows the cocoa powder with the berries. Chocolate, roasted malts and some nice richness that is not too much. A very well-blended raspberry stout.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a ruby hue, medium tan head. Aroma is sweet, ripe raspberries and cocoa, a little sugary at first but balances with more cocoa as it warms. Taste is also sweet ripe raspberry up front, a slight tartness from the berries, some chocolate and roasty notes as well, a little bitterness in the finish. This changes quite a bit as it warms, mostly for the better. I would like a little more richness from the stout behind the raspberry notes, but still good.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2017 Bottle from LCBO. Pitch black with big off white head. Strong aroma of very sweet raspberries, some chocolate, bit of a cough medicine aroma. Very smooth mouthfeel, and very thin for a stout. Sweet chocolate upfront, smooth creamy middle, lingering sweet raspberries. Not too bad, though it reminds me a bit of overly sweet kids cough medicine. The other beers in this special series of beers have been much better than this one.
