In the immortal words of Dennis Green, it is what it said it is, a big milk chocolate imperial stout, and it delivers in every way, the Bare Naked Ladies reference is a bonus in my opinion. Sweet milk chocolate, barrel character, wood, just a nice beer all around, solid I would do this again if I had the chance. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 28, 2015
TFOB: black pour, nice tan head.
Aroma is strong cocoa/chocolate. Nice roasted malt.
Some lactose malted milky chocolate light espresso. Balanced finish. All around excellent.

Thick black pour with a rich brown head. Aroma is cocoa/chocolate. Taste was so rich, glad I shared it with family. Chocolate, little bitter, roasted malt, little char. My nephew had his with vanilla ice cream. The beer clung to the glass like poop on tourists flung by frenzied monkeys. douglas88 (9501) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 13, 2014
750 ml. Pours a dark pure black color with a medium beige head. The aroma is big chocolate, malt balls. The flavor is big sweet milky chocolate, some vanilla, more malt balls. Quite good.

Bottle from Douglas. Thanks!
A: Solid black with a light cappuccino head. Some legs.
N: Malted malt balls and cocoa. Vanilla and licorice. Toast and some lactose. A little raspberry.
T: Moderately bitter and a bigger sweetness.
M: Heavier body though not up there with Evil Twin.
O: A chocolately confection. IRS undertone could use some work, but it is still quite nice. bytemesis (8765) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Bottle thanks to kbudd19! Pours deep black with a large brown creamy head that lasts forever and leaves nice lacing in its wake. Aroma is mega-chocolate, rich milk chocolate. Flavor follows, huge chocolate on a bed of roasty malts and a touch of vanilla. Medium sweet, quite bitter actually, despite the description, but rich and decadent nonetheless. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Lingering bitter cocoa finish. Whoa. jtclockwork (16831) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 14, 2014
Bottle shared by me at Weekly Tasting. Thanks Kevin! Pours black tan head. Nose/taste of cocoa nib, marshmallow, chocolate milk, tootsie roll and graham cracker. Medium body. Much better than the other chocolate imperial stout I had from Flying Monkeys. This one is world class. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - AUG 13, 2014

Bottle: Thanks Gothgargoyle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Deep dark brown black pour. Medium sized brown foamy head on top of a black beer.
The aroma is the most balanced, complex, interesting, smooth and delicious aroma a Imperial Chocolate Stout has ever had imo!
Dark chocolate, cacoa, smooth roast, brownies, mocha, sweet chocolate, marvelous aroma!
Flavour is in the same range of the aroma: awesome balanced and perfect pairing with (3) chocolate ice! Oh wow, really good! Dark chocolate, chocolate, cacoa, bitters, cacoa beans, some coffee, mocha and roast with a sweet edge. Amazing!
Sticky dark chocolate cacoa mocha bitter aftertaste. Delicious!
Low carbo, creamy silky mouthfeel, full bodied and an oily sticky texture.
Close to perfect, damn this is really good!
