COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heeding a chorus of voices crying for a dark roasty thing with lots of west coast hops and a higher ABV, we summoned Netherworld from the chaotic flipside of the brewhouse where hybrid is the norm and nothing is ordinary. Hovering just this side of evil, in the right hands, our «Cascadian Dark Ale» is bizarrely nice with its own entrancing mojo. However, watch out for those who refuse to see the darkness.

serrano94 (21) - SPAIN - OCT 15, 2017
Cerveza negra con aroma fermentado y espuma poco duradera. Suave y burbujeante al paladar y con notas finales de café.

bottle - Pours near black with a hoppy, roasty, coffee aroma. It has a similar flavor with moderate to strong hops bitterness, roast malt, a little chocolate, and some resin. Medium bodied. Good beer.

Pallleon (433) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 28, 2017
Barna szín, közebes bézs hab. Pörkölt malátás, karamelles, némi csokoládéval fűszerezett ízvilág. Nem rossz, de van jobb is.

Iznogud (4070) - CROATIA - SEP 23, 2017
Bottle, 355 ml at Svijet Piva. Shared with JFK10000 and others. Pours black with medium beige head. Chocolate, moderate roastiness, some hops, pine, bitter finish. Has some smoothness in texture. Medium bodied. OK, probably not the freshest.

Cerveza sencilla, muy compensada y ligera. Está bien pero es muy normal, no se nota el lúpulo.

midovark (1041) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - AUG 17, 2017
Bottle @ Hopaholic. Black coloured with thin, long lasting beige head. Coffee and cocoa dominate its aroma and taste, with some additional, slighter hoppy notes. Medium lasting finish, light body, soft carbonation. More like a stout than a black IPA imo.

stupre (486) - Nanterre, FRANCE - AUG 15, 2017
33cl bottle purchased @ Mondial de la bière Paris. Robe noire avec mousse brune. Black IPA bien équilibrée qui est peu amère. Attaque sur le réglisse très agréable.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2017 355ml bottle (Alus Celle, Riga) (6:4:5:2:10=2.7)
Deeply roasted malts, some spicy hops too, but kinda messy. Very dark, brief head settles to a ring. Messy herbal rye and nettle porridge taste. Harsh palate. Harsh finish. Acrid. Very messy beer, fails to be either stout or IPA, and isn’t anywhere in between the two. Irrelevant you say, but this is also nowhere near the black IPAs that I like that are in the neither/nor zone. What is it? Don’t care, just know my temptation to buy it again is zero.
