Heeding a chorus of voices crying for a dark roasty thing with lots of west coast hops and a higher ABV, we summoned Netherworld from the chaotic flipside of the brewhouse where hybrid is the norm and nothing is ordinary. Hovering just this side of evil, in the right hands, our Cascadian Dark Ale is bizarrely nice with its own entrancing mojo. However, watch out for those who refuse to see the darkness.

Dark red-brown, beige fizzy head with some big suds, wet frothy lacing. Smells of roasted dark malt, some burnt coffee, grassy hop, light toffee, spice, and bready biscuit. Taste is burnt dark malt bitterness, a bit like watery burnt coffee, light biscuit and spice. Body is a little flat, bitter, grassy. Not bad. Like a hoppier brown ale with with some burnt coffee and biscuit. Would be better with some depth to balance the bitter burnt flavour. I like black IPAs that are less grassy in their roastiness and more chocolate/coffee/smoky.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Translucent dark cola pour with light tan head. Aroma is musty roasted malt with faint woody hops. Taste is burnt malt with some brightness from woody but muddled hoppy bitterness. Light thin body. Not great really.

Reddish brown color with average head. Flavor is mostly hop bitterness...that lingers. Excellent flavor, but little roast.

Could monkeys live in Canada with such a cold weather? Their arrival in Greece caused us the best impressions with their great character. Bottle 330 ml at Hoppy Pub. If you find this beer in you way just grab it! Even Tarzan left cjitah for monkeys!

Nice clear dark brown colour. Theres plenty of bittersweet malts with hints of caramel, cocoa and coffee. The well rounded hoppy dryness offers good balance.
