TFOB. Probably my beer of the festival, certainly from FM at this fest. Straw orange/yellow with a small white head. Aroma: Catty, lots of hops, peppery, citrus zest too. Flavour: Lots of (good) cat piss with tons of hops backing it up, medium mouth feel, long catty hop finish. Lovely. HogTownHarry (7065) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - OCT 27, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 30, 2012 July 29, 2012 - Toronto Festival Of Beers. Place-holder text - details to follow shortly. Nearly murky pour, amberish yellow with a large fizzy/creamy white head (4-). Aroma is massively, pungently catty and bitter, sweet citrus malt with a bit of lemon zest in the background, noticeable alcohol. Taste - wow, even more pungent and catty, really grabs the tongue (8- - I love catty). Average body, very astringent, weak carbonation with a long, dry, acidic pungently bitter finish, a little sticky gluten in the aftertaste - unbalanced as hell, who cares. Straw colour with a thin white head. The nose is a little bit peppery and spicy. Some definite catty flavour along with a bright hoppy finish. Nice enough.
