COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Three strata of raw cacao nibs, cacao powder, and chocolate malt layer a triple doozie of chocolate in this unique Milk Stout. Earthy espresso notes and creamy chocolate dominate this ruby-lit, burnt umber bodied beer simmering with a welcoming 10% ABV of bittersweet warmth.

This chocolate stout poured a deep black colour with a big, tan coloured, creamy head. Scents include chocolate to the 9th degree, cherries and cream. First sip was a shitload of cocoa flavor with additional flavours of cherries, cherry whiskey and Cherry Blossom chocolate bars. Finish is cocoa to the extreme, almost syrup.

Pours very dark with caramel colored head. Strong chocolate aroma. Forward notes of dark chocolate but not overwhelming. No hint of 10% APV which is good in my opinion. Flavor continues to impress as one finishes the glass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Stateline... Poured into a snifter... big khaki colored head that sticks around. The beer it self is dark almost black in color. Nose of chocolate, cocao. Taste is chocolate milk, cocao powder, chocolate. Dark fruit and bitterness in the aftertaste. Good stuff. Body is smooth and silky, just a hint of the ten percent creeps up in the aftertaste but overall very enjoyable.

Bouteille 750 ml. Couleur noire, mousse brune. Nez de chocolat assez intense, un peu café. En bouche, assez puissante, notes de chocolat en pleine gueule, sucrée, crémeuse, ronde. Assez poussée mais j'ai bcp aimé. C'est chocolat c'est bon.

glennmastrange (2940) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - NOV 12, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2017 Bottle. Heavy toasted, chocolate powder and dark bread for the malt, light herbs and earth for the hops and yeast, with cinnamon and soy sauce in the background. Head is small, frothy/creamy, light tan, with some slippery lacing and good legs and is mostly diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately bittersweet. Palate is medium to full, creamy verging on syrupy, with a lively carbonation and a dry, chalky and moderately alcoholic finish. An exceptional Imperial Stout with a three way addition of cocoa.
