2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured at the brewery on opening night. This is a light lawnmower-style beer - it’s got a mild malt aroma with a bit of hop as well. It tastes light and crisp - drinkable, but not exceptionally great - middle of the road.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap @ brewery. Medium yellow with thin white head and decent lacing. Cereal and citric. A little floral hint and a fruity hint. Has a little more hop character than the usual kolsch. Ergo I like it much better then the usual kolsch.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draft at Know Good Beer Festival, Charlottesville, 5/3/14. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of doughy malt, citrus hops and a strong chemical note. The taste is pale grainy malt, bitter hops, mild bit of fruitiness. Thin bodied, overcarbonated, off balance, pretty much a mess overall.
