Flaska.

1 ltr bottle in Barrio Buceo Montevideo. Pours translucent brown/red with off-white head. Nose is simple, but good - light notes of brown sugar, mildly detectable generic hops. Flavor is actually quite good and rich - not necessarily to style, though - rich caramel flavors, some toasted malt, even a bit of chocolate - just a little on the sweet side in the middle and the finish, but a nice bit of bitter(ish) hops linger into the finish clearing the palate to an extent. The best I’ve had from this brewery so far.

chinchill (5309) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 24, 2014
300 ml bottle served in a mug at La Internacional Cerveceria in Cozumel, MEX. As expected, the body is very dark brown; clear but opaque in the glass; decent head; spotty lacing. Overly light aroma; a stronger flavor than the aroma suggests but still relatively mild. Moderately sweet. O: perhaps more like a schwarzbier than a German dunkel. Improved with warming.

Lubiere (14150) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 2, 2014
A dark brown dunkel with a thick brown head. In aroma, sweet burned caramel malt, light synthetic vanilla, cloying. In mouth, sweet caramel with loads of burned caramel, residual sugars, cloying. Bottle from Mercado Economico, Colonia, Uruguay.

TBone (18211) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 2, 2014
Bottle from corner shop in Montevideo, 1000ml
Almost opaque brown color, small steady beige head. Aroma has caramel, burned sugar and aspartine. Medium-bodied. Caramel, grainy notes, artifical sweetner feeling. Tastes industrial although not nasty.

Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 21, 2012
Nice and soft. Very dunkel in colour but not in taste. Easy to drink and nice foam too there.

bytemesis (9190) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear deep brown with a large brown somewhat fizzy head and some lacing. Aroma is of malt, yeast, barnyard, and hay. Flavor is quite sweet, dominated by roasted malts.

Espesa, cremosa y de sabor muy dulce, a caramelo. Buena para acompañar un asado uruguayo

Hurracasurf (64) - Montevideo, URUGUAY - AUG 1, 2011
Es una muy buena cerveza para su bajo precio y con la facilidad de encontrarla en todos los supermercados. Muy buena para tomar con frio por sus tonos alcoholicos y su sabor a chocolate.

horrible beer... Too expensive for what it is. The cap had rust on it as if it had been on a boat for 6 months. Avoid at all costs.
