Red-amber color. Aroma and flavor have a well defined yeast character; malt and caramel flavor too, off-dry but with a good body strength; strong bitterness with a herbaceous final.
Good Bitter, would perform well on cask too.
Draught. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head on there. Nose has some slight grass elements to it, as well as just a little bit of fruit. Taste is earthy and fruity, and seems to have just a little bit of dirt to it. I found it weird and not that appealing. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JAN 2, 2013
Draft at ebp. Pours a cloudy burnished medium amber with a dense and creamy tan head. Fresh cut wood and caramel nose. Creamy soft medium body with soft carb. Toast, fresh cut wood, and caramel mid palate. Mild caramel finish. Clean and nice. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAR 28, 2012
Amber in color, light haze with a thin head. Nice hops and malt aroma. Bitter lingers in the flavor as a buttery taste this is very good. Nice easy drinking bitter. Named after the Utah Utes mascot Swoop.
