The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell started off with a light ginger sweeping into light citrus tones over some light refreshing floral tones.
The taste was slightly sweet with the ginger combining a nice spice surrounding the flavor of the citrus. Wheat is fairly tame to allow the ginger to be the main flavor all around. There’s no aftertaste with a quick sweet to semi-spiced ginger finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The ginger is fairly tame on my tongue allowing the citrus and floral aspects add a nice sweet soothing crisp feel.
Overall, I say this was a nice American pale wheat ale with the ginger side being somewhat tame and adding some other nice tones to make a nice session on a late Summer’s day.
Sample at source. Poured a clear orange and thin bubbly white head. Aroma was as you’d expect with ginger and wheat. Flavor followed the nose with a bit of floral. Light body and thin texture, lively carbonation, smooth finish. Not my thing. Handypaul (582) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JUN 8, 2015
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2016 Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head that gone immediately and leaves no lacing. Weak aroma is ginger and lilac. Light body, lively carbo, thin texture, wheat shows through along with the ginger, leading to an abrupt watery finish. Travlr (26268) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 24, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head that diminishes to a ring leaving a small bit of lacing. Aroma is ginger, cinnamon and light floral. Carbonation seems appropriate, body is a bit thin, no taste of alcohol, lightly sweet, ginger shows through over the wheat but is light and subtle, a good session beer for a hot summer day.
Bottle. Clear yellow color. Aroma of coriander, ginger. Taste has lemon, light spice. OK.

Pours a hazy still into a tulip. Ginger aromas. Soft with ginger and dusty yeast. Yuk. canary dog (784) - Rutland, Vermont, USA - OCT 5, 2014
This is a pretty assertive offering where the general essence and body are reminiscent of a strong IPA. But when you get done swishing it around and begin tasting it, it is evident that it is not hops, but spicy ginger that fills the mouth. The alcohol was well hidden, I thought. I couldn’t really get any sense of the profile of the wheat beer itself, as everything was centered around the ginger. Not bad. madnorwegian (255) - FRANCE - SEP 5, 2014
