Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Big thanks for sharing this one! Pours unclear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds old lemon, orange and grass. Light sweet flavor, a bit sweaty, with grassy bitterness, some dry wood. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Damp grass in the finish, some lemon rind, mellow funk, earth, fine citrusy tang. Great stuff.

Gut! 12/12/11/11//12

Corked bottle, n. 0572/1400, vintage 2009, 4 years old, courtesy of Jane (fonefan)
It opens with a loud pop; the bottle is a slow gusher; it pours a bright copper-gold color, with turbolent persistent perlage sustaining a medium sized head.
The aroma is clean and penetrating, pungent; acidic and fruity, with strong character of pink grapefruit, followed by dry cellar and cobwebs; finally some notes of cheese rind.
It’s well carbonated, the mouthfeel is therefore partially smooth; very dry, but with a good body structure, supported by a good malt flavor, plenty of pink grapefruit, correct bitterness, and a moderately astringent final.
Balanced and elegant. One of the best Gueuze I had in a long time.

Bottle at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, big thanks to Borino for unearthing this number, 21/02/15.
Hazed golden amber with a moderate off white covering.
Nose carries big funky stridres, yeast tones, bitter citric, pissy, dungy, wood must.
Taste comprises lemon rind, green apple, wood must, funky, pissy citrics, barnyard.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte finale.
Decent gueuze.
