This beer is awesome... I kept it on it’s side for a week in the fridge and enjoyed it in my garden. Refreshing, tasty... this is perfection

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2013 (29/01/2012) 2009 Vintage 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBWG 2012 – thx to Diabel – bottle nr. 879/1400 – glad to see this one around even tough I didn’t expect it since I didn’t pick it up when I was it – hazy orange with lambicy white head – smells like sour lemons, some hay, slight barnyard, fresh lemons, something slightly hearbal – tart & sour lemons, slight funkiness with some barnyard, slight lactic, white grapes, horse blanket, hint of acid, straw with some bitterness in the aftertaste –fluffy body, soft carb. refreshing, lovely //// Tried this one again, on par with the best of 3F now, really improved, if people only knew PhillyCraft (8198) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2012
Bottle from Jeremy, with Bill and Frank. Pours a hazy oranfe with small to medium off white head, tiny bubbles. Aromas and taste were sour and very tart lemons, oak, peach, fruit skins, tons of wood, and lactic acid. Light carbonation with a refreshing and salivating finish. Corked bottle, n. 0572/1400, vintage 2009, 4 years old, courtesy of Jane (fonefan)Huhzubendah (3775) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 5, 2016
It opens with a loud pop; the bottle is a slow gusher; it pours a bright copper-gold color, with turbolent persistent perlage sustaining a medium sized head.
The aroma is clean and penetrating, pungent; acidic and fruity, with strong character of pink grapefruit, followed by dry cellar and cobwebs; finally some notes of cheese rind.
It’s well carbonated, the mouthfeel is therefore partially smooth; very dry, but with a good body structure, supported by a good malt flavor, plenty of pink grapefruit, correct bitterness, and a moderately astringent final.
Balanced and elegant. One of the best Gueuze I had in a long time.
What an unexpected surprise. Huge thank you to stakem for the rare treat.
Copper body with a white head. The aroma is incredible. A perfect scent. Well water, citrus, mineral funk. Absolutely delicious. One of the best gueuzes I’ve had. Wow.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2014 Bottle at the Grote Dorst. Pours a blond-copper with some sediment and a thick white head and sick lacing. Dusty aroma, attic feeling, some cheese and barnyard. You can feel there is age, but there is no sign of oxidation. Taste is very lemony and citric. Somewhat puckering, highly addictive. Some leather and hay. Palate is perfect, well carbed and dry. One of the best lambic of our trip, a little short from 3 Fonteinen 2001’s. 4.4.
Re-rate: Tried another bottle. Very, this one is brighter (no dust) and there is intense puckering lemon. Slightly better.
