At the source. So far, my least favorite of their listings. Pours Octoberfest orange. No head. Mild lacing. Local sweet potatoes listed on the ingredient list. Love the concept. Smells and tastes lager-ish. Nice beer. Would be a nice crossover beer for the person who loves Sam Adams.
Sample at the taproom. Clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and a bit of ripe fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, caramel and touches of fruity yeast. The finish is earthy with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall. jbruner (4734) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Pours a hazy golden brown on tap with bubbly off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma and taste of malty sweetness, a touch of earthy nut, solid maple notes. Decent, but not amazing compared to everything else they had. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 21, 2015
On tap at Fonta Flora. Pours a clear orange color with white head. Sweet potato, caramel, toast aromas. Sweet potato, bread, malty, slight bitter finish I the flavors. Alright
