Comes in a can.
Pours black with little to no head. Light brown if you get one. Light carbonation leaving a film on top and a slight resin lacing.
Smells of chocolate and light coffee. Very pleasant. You’ll smell it again.
Nice chocolate and coffee flavors with some malts and hops present.

Solid, and borders on spectacular. Don’t get the low ratings on this guy. Porters can be tough, as stouts’ little brothers. This one is solidly flavorful. Nothing brings attention to itself. Instead, one gets a beautiful medley of the flavors that are expected from this style, in abundance, and superbly balanced. andyhwcinc (1884) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Purchased at Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont, MA; enjoyed at home after getting back from vacation, preparing for the impending work week. Appearance is ptich black, moderate to thin consistency, with a great tan head that laces to the glass. Aroma is rich in roasted chocolate malt, light coffee, as well as light hop bitterness, smells wonderful. Taste goes down with a nice roasted dryness, chocolate notes, light coffee bitterness. This is a pretty straightforward porter, but it’s done pretty well, very good stuff. Drake (14038) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 15, 2014
12 ounce can courtesy of Travlr. Thanks! Pours a very dark brown color with a large foamy brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of big roast and chocolate notes, some nuts, caramel and citrus hops. The taste is roast, chocolate, a briny note, mild hops. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness, low carbonation. Nice beer, a little different, but quite nice. malrubius (2960) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - OCT 17, 2014

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2014 Opaque, thick lace.
Full body, intensely flavored, silky texture, medium carbonation, low alcohol heat, forever lingering palate.
Very bitter, not too dry, just right acidity, wonderfully balanced at the top of the dial.
Coffee and other dry roast flavors, hint of smoke.
A big beer, almost a stout, my favourite porter despite some similarity with Guiness.

Roasted coffee chocolate malt aroma. Pitch black body with a tan head which levels quick to a thin film. Dry roasted flavor with some mild bitterness. Some sweet caramel in the background. Pleasant and not overpowering in anyway. LauraP (3) - thornton, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 18, 2013 does not count
Best of the three beers offered by this company. Pours about a finger of head, and is dark but not black. Robust smell, roasty.Taste was similar to the nose, a little thin. madnorwegian (244) - FRANCE - AUG 15, 2014
Lots of stuff going on here. Deep black, with tan head. Chocolate and coffee aromas that show up nive and clear when tasted. Also a smokiness to this beer. Very dry which keeps it refreshing unlike some porter that are a little sweet. Very flavorful and complex. 50belair (3670) - Florida, USA - AUG 17, 2014
On tap at The White Horse Tavern. Dark brown pour with a kaki head. Coffee and dark roasted malt bouquet. Dark roasted malt and expresso notes. Good body and mouthfeel. Slight bitterness which I suspect is from the dark roasted malts as opposed to hops. Above average body and mouthfeel. A real solid porter.
