22oz bottle, thanks to whomever shared this! Dark brown, near-black color. Thin off-white kind of khaki bubbly head. Dots and bits of lace. Bigger body. Smooth, kind of chewy, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Great dark chocolate, cocoa nibs. Light to moderate roast, mild coffee. Moderate sweet-plus taste, moderate bitter. A very solid assertive roasty baltic porter. blipp (9598) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 19, 2011
Bottle. Pours near black with a beige head. Roasted malty aroma with a light sweetness. The flavor has roasted malts, toffee, and a bit of a fruity sweetness. Nice. solidfunk (9366) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 12, 2014

Hop and roast aromas. Black rich on the palate and fruity with a hint of dryness in a bitter coffee roast finish. drowland (8955) - Georgia, USA - MAR 31, 2011
3/31/11. Bomber courtesy emacgee! Black pour with a big brown head that sticks and laces quite a bit. Complex aroma of dark fruits, molasses, dark malts, and chocolate, with that certain hint of sour stout. Big chocolate flavor again with a dash of sour paired with a finish of dry coffee, molasses, and dark fruits. Quite nice!

Tasted at the big “SeaBass has got to go” tasting courtesy of fishingnet. Pours amber with full tan head. The modest aroma is sweet with some dark fruity esters mixing with caramel as well as sugary malt sweetness and seems to lack earthiness this style typically has. The taste is dark roasted malts, prunes, a bit of fig meat note, chocolate and then a pleasing level of earthiness into the finish. Nice stuff. nimbleprop (8723) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JAN 26, 2011
22oz bottle pours a watery, nearly opaque black with a thin, creamy, beige head. Sweet aroma, molasses, nuts, toasted bread, malty, Belgian chocolate, some caramel. Flavor is sweet, malty sugar, a little vanilla, toasted bread, brownie batter, caramel frosting, licorice, a little dark fruit and some dried fruit. Sounds like it might be cloying, but it isn’t. Finish is full bodied and dry. Very nice. Plovmand (8597) - Grindsted, DENMARK - DEC 1, 2010
Bottle. Pitch black body with a creamy thick light tan head. The aroma is sweet tobacco, chocolate, coffee, hard roasted malt and some ripe dark fruit. The flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and lighter notes of hops. Creamy texture. Very good. drfabulous (8488) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 9, 2011
