Well...sometimes you have to disagree with everyone. I really like this beer. Had at the airport in Charlotte. Had a nice light crisp aroma. Looks okay. A Kolsch-like beer, but with a nice crisp dry finish. A could drink a lot of these: a great finish. bpatrick01 (6) - Charleston, South Carolina, USA - SEP 26, 2014 does not count
Mild some sweet aroma. Good not fully diminishing head. Mild iinital toast bitterness and ends with a slight earthy citrus. Body is light and creamy and has good lacing throughout and also fizzy carbonation throughout. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - JUN 1, 2012
Bottle. Multiple bottles. Bought alot of this over the past while; strangely enough I never did when it was brewed by Carolina. This one seems to be much better; lively, easy drinking, great summer beer. Very crisp and clean. I like it. puboflyons (3531) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - APR 10, 2017
On tap at the Charlotte, NC airport. Yellow, heady pour. Slight haze. Big citrus hop aroma, which is unusual for a Blonde...Unless I was misinformed of what I was drinking. Toasted bread. Light to medium body. Same big citrus hop finish with roasted sweet malts below. It is more like an IPA. tron3000atl (72) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 23, 2012
This stuff is pretty righteous. Nice tart dry finish, kind of astringent i think. Who gives a crap its pretty good and has definitely been improved since its carolina brewing days. i like it.

A nice crisp, clean beer perfect for sipping on a hot summer day. Light, yet flavourful decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 28, 2013
Yellow with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of paper and corn with light malt and earthy hops. Wheaty malt papery and floral hops. Medium body with good carbonation. jrob21 (3879) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 25, 2016
On tap at Tobacco Road. Go hoos! Crisp clean dry. More presence and flavor than the full steam IPA I just had if that’s telling you anything. LuckyDog (615) - - OCT 21, 2014
Good example of a cream ale. Not complicated, but good mouth feel and light flavor.
