Reviewed from notes. Thanks for the trade, Wendy! This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a mostly dark brown color with a finger’s worth of sustaining white foamy head. After dissipation, some messy lace. The aroma had some milk chocolate sweetness up front. Then some nuts, faint roast, light caramel/toffee base malt. Sweet oats/grains. light earthy hops. The flavor blended the sweet to the roast pretty nice. Bled into the aftertaste to find it’s way into the finish in the same way. The feel was about medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Silky smooth all around my tongue. Carbonation was good and so was the ABV. Overall, pretty nice brown ale well worthy of having again.

Draft at Churchkey. Beautiful crystal clear ruby color. Aroma of nutella biscuits. Taste is chewy smoky nutella. Very nice.

SpringsLicker (3660) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 2, 2014
Clear medium brown body with a tall, off-white head. Sweet, nutty malt aroma. no hops. The flavor is sweet but a good crisp hop bitterness balances this out nicely. Decent, I’ve had many that were far worse and a few better.

Bottle. Pours brown, thin tan head. Aroma of nuts, chocolate malt, floral. Medium sweet roasty taste. Medium-light body, slightly above average carbonation, relatively sharp lingering bitter finish. Texture sticks. Overall an average brown ale, good for the purchase price of $7 for a 6-pack on sale.
