Either a very early or very old bottle, code is 0831163115, who can tell me? 2016? A little darker than a pale ale. Smell is somewhat veggie, no real hint of pumpkin. Wasn’t expecting much in the taste but I am pleasantly surprised. Very good co2 cutting thru and there is this hint of mild tartness in there. Not overly done on the pumpkin spices and I appreciate that. Yes, in the middle of the session I think I get some hints of soda pop, just a hint. Not really like pumpkin pie but perhaps something a little better. Must be the real pumpkin in this that pulls it on thru. Just a subtle hint of pumpkin spices, well balanced and never in yer face. Probably one of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had. Yes, much better than expected, good job foothills; and if this is last year’s, perhaps every bottle should be aged a year but I think this may just be a real early 2017, no? rumproasts (6035) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Tap. Amber with small head. Light, thin body, but spicing is well done with a lot of clove. nearbeer (5608) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 5, 2013
Pint on tap. Nice pie spice aroma with light baked pumpkin. Taste is the same, with a nice balance between the spices and pumpkin and some leafy hop. Light-medium body has average carbonation and is well balanced. Well served pumpkin that you could easily have more than one of since its not over-spiced like so many are. chinchill (5320) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 29, 2013
Undated 12 oz bottle from Foothills Brewing. Very good reason to believe this is a 2013 vintage. ABV listed as 5.3% with IBU = 5.2. Lower ABV and flavor strength than the Terrapin Pumpkinfest that proceeded it, but it has very similar spicing; both featuring nutmeg, clove, ginger and cinnamon. emacgee (4705) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - NOV 20, 2012
Clean copper gold pour with one finger of off white head. Spicy nose with a nice biscuity/toasted grain character. Grainy and lightly herbal in the flavor with some spice coming through for sure.

Clear amber color with a frothy off white head. Big spicy nose with nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Soft mouth feel. Lots of dusty spice, with nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon with some coarse bread underneath. If you like spiced seasonals then this is the beer for you. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 4, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small head on it. Nose has your typical pumpkin spice palate, though I find the aroma to be particularly intense. Taste is pretty well balanced, though the spices dominate any flavor. OK, but nothing special. weihenweizen (4128) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - OCT 11, 2013
Frigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours light amber with small beige head. Nice pumpkin aroma, medium/light body, low carbonation, and thin small bubble lacing. Taste earthy, pumpkin, nutmeg, ginger, and a hint of cinnamon. Good pumpkin beer. TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - NOV 5, 2012
