Either a very early or very old bottle, code is 0831163115, who can tell me? 2016? A little darker than a pale ale. Smell is somewhat veggie, no real hint of pumpkin. Wasn’t expecting much in the taste but I am pleasantly surprised. Very good co2 cutting thru and there is this hint of mild tartness in there. Not overly done on the pumpkin spices and I appreciate that. Yes, in the middle of the session I think I get some hints of soda pop, just a hint. Not really like pumpkin pie but perhaps something a little better. Must be the real pumpkin in this that pulls it on thru. Just a subtle hint of pumpkin spices, well balanced and never in yer face. Probably one of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had. Yes, much better than expected, good job foothills; and if this is last year’s, perhaps every bottle should be aged a year but I think this may just be a real early 2017, no? jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 20, 2017
On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings in January. Oops, didn’t realize this was a pumpkin beer. Pumpkin, vegetal, earthy, floral aromas. Malty, pumpkin, light leather, floral flavors. Drinking a pumpkin beer in January is not really my thing. This one is alright, but not a great pumpkin beer. hman43 (1747) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - NOV 24, 2016
It pours golden with a white head It has aromas of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other spices. It has flavors of pumpkin, grain that is sweet, cinnamon, nutmeg, graham cracker and other spices. It is fairly light in body with some bitterness. tillmac62 (756) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - JAN 26, 2016
Pours a clear golden with a bit of amber. Normal head volume and lacing, outstanding retention.
Rich outstanding nose of pumpkin, spices (nutmeg, clove, ginger) and light biscuit malt.
Light body with a texture slightly smoother than water. Superb carbonation with a nice effervescent middle and a prickly burst in the finish.
The flavor profile is very good, but is a bit light on intensity and is very well balanced. Spices appear in a blended fashion and never really separate. The middle hints at bitterness and provides a balancing biscuit. The finish is a slow light spicy fade. boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 25, 2015
Bottle from trio. Pours hazy golden with a medium sized white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma has a bit of cinnamon and a bit of nutmeg. Very little gourd to this guy. The taste has a bit of the spices from the nose but ends with a very astringent flavor. Not good and too light for the roughness to be covered.

A good fall beer with a good cinnamon taste and the right amount of other flavored HourGlass13 (1009) - North Carolina, USA - AUG 30, 2015
Nice crystal clear light amber pour, with s thin off white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie spice with baked pumpkin. Taste is mostly the the same, with the spices taking front seat and pumpkin in the background. Not much hop taste. Light-medium body, average carbonation. Really it is over-spiced in my opinion. Not bad.. but not great. geologyguy (1649) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - JAN 18, 2015

Just what you expect from a pumpkin ale. Nutmeg. Cinnamon. Pumpkin. Might be served in a glass with sugar on the rim. beerme31 (692) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - OCT 10, 2014
Bottle. Pours light clear amber medium tan head. Nose is full of spices with clove, pumpkin, and nutmeg. Medium sweet taste. Medium-light body, dry spiced finish, thin texture. Ok overall.
