The Simcoe shines here. A very well balanced IPA with some malts and citrus to balance out the finishing hops punch. Nice orange color and it smells on target for a citrus laced IPA. Well done.

Aroma: The aroma has a nice hoppiness, citrus, grass, grapefruit, pine, and a little caramel
Appearance: The pour is a clear orange color, with a small white head and spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet and mid-plus bitter, the components match-up with nose
Palate: The body is medium, with a soft carbonation, a sticky feel, and a decently dry finish
Overall Impression: This seemed to me to be a very solid IPA. Maybe I just needed a half decent beer, and Im overrating its quality, but I enjoyed this one.

Bottle from Ucusty. Thanks D! This pours a nice deep golden orange with a disappearing white head. The aroma jumps out as a little garlicky with notes of pine, caramel, citrus and light bready malts. The flavor is very nice with big notes of pine, garlic and milder notes of citrus on the back end. Decent malt presence to give it a nice full backbone, but the bright hops take center stage for sure. Nice mild bitter finish. A flavorful, easy drinking IPA. A pleasant surprise.

[4294-20120211] 650mL bottle. Grape tangerine hops aroma has fresh apple flesh notes. Slightly hazy, amber orange body with a small long-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter leaf mould flavour has a lot of citrus throughout. Medium bitter body. Interesting. (6/3/7-/3/14) 3.3

Thanks Jerc. The aroma has a little bit of light zest and a bit of pine. Sort of a dank aged hop aroma along with a bit of salty character. A little bit of light pepper. Meh. Its not got the fresh character that I like in an IPA.
