Great hoppy aroma and full hop flavor with a golden orange appearance and dry finish.

A beautiful floral hop aroma. Really smells great. Had too few hoppy beers on my trip. This is immediately hoppy yet creamy as well. Quite enjoyable. A strong bitter-hop finish that’s just a tad too intense. Only real complaint. Great. tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 7, 2012
bomber, orange color with white frothy head. some citrus in the aroma but the flavor burst with citrus orange and grapefruit flavors. not as bitter as you would expect quite smooth. so the aroma and flavor differ in that respect but this is a very good ipa.. On tap. Dark orange pour, sticky head. Bright floral hoppy tones in the nose, smells fresh. Taste is a thick hoppy bite, followed by a malt and biscuity flavor. Low carbonation, easy drinking, nothing special but a good local beer. b3shine (9281) - Indiana, USA - MAY 2, 2012
Bottle to snifter. Looks decent; deep with low carbonation. Smells and tastes good; balanced. Mouthfeel is decent too. A solid brew.

I enjoyed this IPA, well balanced and refreshing. More in the English style, it has darker malt and isn’t a "hop bomb" at all but it still has a good bit of bitterness and pine in the palate. Finish is dry and refershing and quick. Overall well balanced, doesn’t particularly stand out, but it’s good beer. Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 24, 2012
Originally reviewed: 4/30/09. This beer came out a hazy orange-gold with about a half-inch white head on top. Beautiful sip rings and lacing globs all over the glass. Well done. Smells of floral hops and wonderful sweet citrus. Very inviting.
Mouthfeel is a tad wet on this. This was just a little too slick on the tongue; disappointing. Flavor was of grapefruity bitterness that bit way back in my jaw muscles. Finished slighty sweet with a bit a twang on the end. It was a little tamer than I expected though. It was good, but not great. Drinkability is high with this one. I could see getting more than one pint of this in a sitting. Decent. byrumj (16) - South Carolina, USA - APR 24, 2012
The Simcoe shines here. A very well balanced IPA with some malts and citrus to balance out the finishing hops punch. Nice orange color and it smells on target for a citrus laced IPA. Well done. ben4321 (6841) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 5, 2012

Aroma: The aroma has a nice hoppiness, citrus, grass, grapefruit, pine, and a little caramel
Appearance: The pour is a clear orange color, with a small white head and spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet and mid-plus bitter, the components match-up with nose
Palate: The body is medium, with a soft carbonation, a sticky feel, and a decently dry finish
This seemed to me to be a very solid IPA. Maybe I just needed a half decent beer, and I’m overrating its quality, but I enjoyed this one.
On tap, orange color with no foam , more malt, some hops and little bit of citrus, has a soft cream finish
