Golden, frothy white head. Nose is pine, tropical fruits, citra hops. Taste is tropical fruit, past-ripe mango, some pepper. Nice oily mouthfeel. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 29, 2012
sample at Brewvival on 2/25/12. golden pour with a 1+ finger white head. citrus / earth and grass hop nose. med body with a nice citrus bitterness >. bitter finish with spice and earthy bitterness. rangerred (989) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Had on tap.
Pours a hazy medium orange with no head to speak of. A small amount of lacing but nothing impressive.
Very tropica citrus aroma with a hefty amount of bread as well. There is a nice floral aroma mixing in too. Very inviting and quite nice.
Lots of mango and grapefruit in the taste with more bread and biscuit. Huge deptht to the hops in this one with a very strong malt backbone for balance. Very high bitterness that leads to a dry finish that is pleasant on a beer of this strength as opposed to sweetness that is all to often present in these types of beers.
Overall, a very nice job by Foothills and a beer that I wish was more widely available.

Had this in Knox after going to the zoo really good beer had nice bitter citrus taste. Very unique. Would have again. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - OCT 22, 2015
On tap at Scion in Silver Spring, MD.
Hazy, golden color with a khaki head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit and toasted grain.
Taste of citrus, tropical fruit, toasted grain and a delicious hop flavor I can't describe.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
An excellent IPA. The hops dominate, but do not overwhelm. This one is neither a citrus bomb nor a huge tropical fruit IPA. Both are there, but other hop elements round it out beautifully.

Growler split with daniel and amanda. Yellowish color pour with a white head on it. Smell is fruity and hoppy. Grass, grapefruit, and other flavors in the nose. Taste is easy to drink and very pleasing. Someing i would drink alot...better than hopppyum. CPDalton (67) - Boone, North Carolina, USA - SEP 1, 2012
On tap at Foothills in Winston-Salem. Pours a murky orange, little to no head. The menu said floral and citrusy, and it certainly is. The nose is extremely fresh, estery, piney. I also get a lot of grapefruit and fruity sweetness. Taste is similar, with a ton of sweetness at the forefront. A nice hoppy bite finishes it off, with a fading sweet tingle. Little carbonation. A very good beer. Cybercat (5841) - Georgia, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Comes out of the tap an appetizing, slightly hazy golden with a decent off-white head. Strong aroma is very hoppy, more evergreen than woody. Richly hoppy flavor has a firm resiny tone and hints of malt and honey. Firm, lively texture leaves a hoppy and only slightly bitter finish. You won’t be jaded after this one. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - NOV 5, 2013
Orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is bready malt citrus/resiny hops. Caramel, biscuit, sweet malt, with a decent resiny/odd bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation. ok by me Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - DEC 8, 2013
