Bomber from Weaver Street Market, Southern Village, Chapel Hill, NC
Ar: Big coffee and chocolate flavors on the nose. Very inviting aroma.
Ap: Pours a deep dark brown with a slight ruby hue when held to the light. 1" frothy cinnamon head leaves great lace and sticks around for some time.
T: Flavors follow suit of the aroma. Touch of toffee. Lots of good bitter chocolate and the finish is freshly brewed coffee. Amply hopped finish.
P: Medium-thick body. Moderately carbonated.
O: Favorite of Foothills’ offerings, this is a very good, straightforward porter.
Very good flavor with all the good dark notes of a stout but won't THE heaviness. Very light feel/texture

This was a little thin in the glass for me. Again I’m always comparing to favourites but it was just ok for me. I picked up on the chocolate and toffee back ground tastes which was a positive but a major negative for me on this one was that it made me feel completely bloated which would mean I wouldn’t drink it again. other stouts I’ve had don’t do this to me ibrubeer (425) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 6, 2017
Draft @ Norfolk Tap Room. Faint roasty aroma. Dark color with maybe a slight ruby hue, thin beige head with slight lacing. Bittersweet chocolate notes at first with a little roast, followed by a little sweetness. Med body, appropriate for porter. Overall, a very nice porter. can8ianben (1601) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2017
A lovely sweet dark beer, thick head and very drinkable flavor profile. I like this one a lot. jb (3445) - Rochester, New York, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Pretty standard porter, drinkable, but I can no longer come up with coherent new things to say about porters. Bottle from Bob. Thanks Bob!
