(Handbottle 65 cl) Courtesy of BrianK. Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. Fat, sweetish aroma of malt and peachy hops. Quite full-bodied, very sweet caramel and a fairly bitter finish. A bit too much on the sweet side. 190408 Leighton (22025) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2014
Draft at Barley’s during RBWG Opening Dinner - Asheville. Pours clear gold with a soft, white foam head. A heavy DIPA, just a bit much. Some present alcohol, rindy citrus, grass, pine. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, obvious alcohol, aggressive bitterness. Meh. mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 28, 2012
22 oz. bottle, sent from TURDFERGUSON (thanks a lot, Sam), pours a hazy golden / copper with a small white head. Aroma is full of piney and resinous hops, biscuity malts, and some dry crackery notes. Flavour brings out dry grassy hops, some wheat or cracker-like dryness, and a bit of zest. Quite dry and wheaty, with the grassy hops leaving a lingering finish. Very enjoyable IIPA, but not amongst the best of them. jtclockwork (17070) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 30, 2013
