Fairly basic pilsner. Pours from tap straw colored without a lot of aroma. Taste is clean and fairly crisp. Didn’t get much hop character. OldGrowth (3474) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - APR 30, 2011
on tap at Tribeca Tavern, Cary. Good aroma, bitter, grassy, sourdough lemon. Clean golden yellow color, small head that faded quick, spotty lace. Bitter flavor. Lite body, oily creamy mouthfeel, crisp bitter finish. Man this hit the spot after a warm day in the warehouse. easy to drink, pleasant to sniff, nice flavor, hits all the marks as far as i can tell. bjt512 (292) - Athens, Georgia, USA - APR 26, 2011
Poured on tap into a shaker at the General Store Cafe in Pittsboro, NC. Light, yellow, and watery, this was perfect after a long day out-of-doors over Easter weekend. I expected the lemony bitterness that you find in other craft brewed pilsners, but was pleasantly surprised by the strong honey notes that filled the middle of the flavor profile. This is probably just about as good as an American pilsner can get, and is certainly a good lawnmower option, assuming that your lawn is situated somewhere in the American south. joshwilfong (1200) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - APR 17, 2011
goldenw ith large white head. nose of spicy saaz hops. some bitterness before a lot of munich sweetness before spicy hops. a lot of residual sweetness for the style leaves it surprisingly not very drinkable Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2011
Reviewed from notes.
Pours a clear yellow color with visible carbonation bubbles and a white head without too much lacing as it goes down. Nose is some light grass and bread with a few hops. Light European hop character and grass in the taste. Light and crisp bit nothing too interesting.
