Bottle. Clear. Light honey color. Floral Saaz hops aroma with hints of hay, dough, and vanilla. Taste is hoppy for a pilsner but not overly so. A little spicy, peppermint perhaps, medium bitter finish. Well balanced and drinkable.
Bottle from Harris Teeter, Hampstead, North Carolina. Golden, clear, with a carbonation and small head. Easy-drinking for its strength with a fuller pilsner taste. SanfordBrewer (1576) - Sanford, Florida, USA - JUN 12, 2017
Hazy gold with a pillowy white head. Creamy full body with moderate carbonation.cheap (5862) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2017
Aroma: herbal saaz hops, doughy malt, clean.
Taste: doughy pilsner malt, herbal hops with soft but dominant bitterness that lingers, slight tartness, faintly musty. Classic flavor.
Very well done label on bottle. Pours like a pale lager. Pale lager aroma. Nice big rocky white head. Big sharp old country pilz bite, sharp, pointed and almost astringent. Difficulty after each slug. Long pilz btter finish. Appropriate name. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - APR 2, 2017
Draft at Carolina Ale House in Wilmington, NC.
Golden yellow body with a soapy white cap. Sticky lacing clings to the perimeter of the pint. Aromas include fresh, earthy hops, grain. Mild bitterness in the flavor. Really fresh. More character than is customary for a pilsner brewed in the US. Quaffable.

Draft taproom. Last beer on tap that I haven't tried. Golden. White head. Light lemon, grass. Flavor is somewhat fruity grass, not bad. Somewhat gluey.

22oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a larger sized head. Grainy, some spiciness, and some caramel. thegreenrooster (4405) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 8, 2017
Pour is hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a nice bready and hay malt with some grassy hops. Flavor is an even better more richer bready malt. A little bitterness tickles the tongue as this goes down. A very good malt to hops combo. This is a tasty pils lots of rich bready malt. beerme31 (685) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - NOV 11, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear golden medium white head. Aroma of hay, grass, bread. Light sweet taste. Finishes balanced with light hop bitterness. Solid pils. TAR (2765) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - SEP 29, 2016
Multiple sixers consumed over the past few months. Bottle packaged on Aug. 6, 2016. Darker shade of golden. Scattered white foam hangs around to the end of the glass. Subdued but mostly clean nose of lemon, toasty baguette, hay, herbs and a hint of DMS. Soft, plentiful carbonation. Malt immediate unfolds with a richly toasty and pleasingly soft texture. Ensuing grip of scratchy herbs beautifully cuts the deep fluffiness with an expressive but well-integrated peppery bite. Hops exhibit a well-layered lemony vibrancy and ample oiliness as they blossom, beautifully matching the sassier pepper elements. Continually lush and expertly extracted malt pervades with plenty of succulence that satiates and causes the lips to smack. Finishes baguette-rich, yet laced with appetizing shades of fervid spiciness and drying herbality from the hops. Someone knows how to make quality lager at Foothills. Aside from the DMS, which greatly dampens the elegant aromatics (DMS was also detected in their recent batch of Oktoberfest, FWIW), this is very well made and shows much promise. Soft and juicy malt coupled with a nice punch of herbal hops equates to a nicely balanced and fun-to-quaff pils. I’m wondering who’s in charge of the "Hop of the Month" series, because I gave up on the pils (Madarina) and Vienna (Wakatu), which were rather defective and not at all like this lovely number. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 4, 2016
Tap. Pours clear gold. Aroma is faint with notes of pale malt, floral notes, and some yeast esters. Flavor is dry and malt forward with faint grassy and floral notes with a touch of lager yeast esters. Medium body.
