COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Storms come and go, and in the end, there’s just a refreshing breeze. So with this shimmering golden wheat beer, the escape is sure to be fresh, cooling and sustaining. We start with a dry and creamy wheat beer, and add fresh botanicals and a splash of key lime juice for a tangy flavor with the delicious bite of ginger. The flavor is bright, layered, and thoroughly satisfying. This beer resonates with the Caribbean otherworldliness of the Florida Keys. Try it with your favorite Gulf Coast foods: jambalaya, fresh grilled fish, gumbo, barbecued chicken or maybe an oyster po’boy. COLOR: hazy gold MALTS: honey, caramel, lager, flaked wheat HOPS: light at 14 IBU, with New Zealand Motueka BOTANICALS: fresh key lime juice, ginger, honeybush, lemon myrtle ALCOHOL: 3.8% ABV BODY & MOUTHFEEL: creamy and refreshing with a sweet-tart balance SERVED: best served cool (40F/4C) in a capacious goblet, garnished with a modest wedge of grapefruit or sprig of fresh mint

Floral with notes of lemon up front, subtle caramelized ginger in the middle, with sugary lime in the finish and aftertaste. Refreshing and tasty. Pretty good overall.

UK style longneck, with sharp shoulders. OK, 1800’s botanical engraving label. Foggy, apricot tan brew, mostly white head. Sulphury, cresol, earthy ginger aroma. Tasty, nice burn, moderate ginger, some biscuits. Something in this beer "made my nose athletic" as Justin Wilson used to say, and invoked a bit of sneezing fit. Lemongrass, herbal, moderately sweet, interesting. Medium body, decent carbo retention. New Leaf Market, Ground Hog Day 2017.

PorterPounder (8313) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 27, 2017
Tallahassee, FL - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Apalachee - 12 oz bottle. Hazy, medium orange pour, very faint off-white head beady head that clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma has some light ginger and nutmeg notes. Flavor has a trace of ginger, some ripening vegetable funkiness, a trace of bubble gum. Mouthfeel is thick enough, bit of a spritz.

Draft sample. Poured hazy amber color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex lime and ginger aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium lime and spice flavor with a medium lime finish of moderate duration. Refreshing brew.

on tap @ Vino Bellissimo / Lima OH --- Aroma of malt and ginger. Nearly clear light amber with a head that drops to a thin cover, sheets of lace. Taste is malt, solid carbonation, then a shot of ginger and mild hops. Surprisingly cleansing, and refreshing. Recommended.

Poured from bottle thanks Willrunforbeer hazy lemon with a thin off white head. Aromas of ginger honey citrus. Taste is ginger but it’s not overpowering well balanced.

12oz bottle from CBC. Pours white gold with a white head. Aroma is ginger, honey, lime. Flavor follows. Honey, wheat, ginger, lime. A touch sweet and over carved. Soda like. It’s like a Moscow Mule without the booze.

Thanks for the 12 oz. bottle share Willrunforbeer! Slightly halt golden color, thin head on top. Aroma is pure ginger root, nothing more.

Flavor is mostly earthy ginger. Malt light traces of malt. Medium body, normal carbonation level. It reminds me more of a ginger beer. Decent.

Nice light ginger forward beer that was balanced nicely with citrus and lime. Super drinkable not too overwhelming.

12oz bottle. Pours a pale hazy golden with a white head. One of the more enjoyable ginger beers I have had. It is subtle enough with the ginger and combines well with the lime and other flavors in this one. Surprisingly good given how mediocre some of the other beers from this brewery have tasted.
