Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy orange color with a small off white head. The nose has light citrus, grain, and herbal notes. The flavor has a touch of fruitiness with pretty even play between the malt and hops. The citrus notes seem bright and work well with the slight caramel notes. Medium bodied with a medium finish. A surprisingly tasty offering from a brewery I’m not normally impressed by.
Bottle from Oddbin’s, Morningside, Edinburgh. Bit stale and musky - strong malt character comes through, but of dry pine and dried fruit, but overall it lacked quite a lot in the middle. Heidbummer (927) - SCOTLAND - JUN 3, 2017
Bottle from Oddbins. Pours deep gold, slightly hazy, foamy head (a bit too foamy actually). Floral and funky aroma, almost a wee bit off. Oddly thin for the abv. Quite dry, the floral aroma doesn’t really follow through into the taste. OK, but a bit one dimensional. Sigmund (7957) - Tau, NORWAY - MAY 2, 2017

Bottle, pours pale amber with a fine head, aroma melds a little fruit and caramel with an odd hint of boiled veg. Drying and bitter, with touches of caramel and resin leading into a severe citrus-bitter and almost acrid finish. WaddlingPlatypus (186) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2016
355ml bottle at the Head of Steam, Durham. Cloudy pale orange with a frothy, ever-so-slightly off-white head. Hoppy aroma with a slight bitter citrus note. Flavours of bread and hoppy bitterness come together with a touch of salt. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - MAY 12, 2016
