Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - FEB 4, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy orange color with a small off white head. The nose has light citrus, grain, and herbal notes. The flavor has a touch of fruitiness with pretty even play between the malt and hops. The citrus notes seem bright and work well with the slight caramel notes. Medium bodied with a medium finish. A surprisingly tasty offering from a brewery Im not normally impressed by.

Bottle, pours pale amber with a fine head, aroma melds a little fruit and caramel with an odd hint of boiled veg. Drying and bitter, with touches of caramel and resin leading into a severe citrus-bitter and almost acrid finish.
