12 ounce bottle from Wegman’s Lake Manassas, 8/22/14. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin creamy white head. Average head retention. Aroma of ginger, nutmeg, caramel malt. The taste is citrus, caramel, raisin, ginger, spice. Medium bodied, lingering spice. solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - AUG 23, 2014
Some spices in this make it a typical sugary pumpkin pie beer. Pours orange with OK head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Elements come together well if you are into this kind of thing. So the pumpkin season begins, already. Tasted this at the Giant by my place and needless to say I didn’t opt for a growler. Beerdedone (3452) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 11, 2014
Bottle. Pours orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavor was malty sweet with pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and honey. snoworsummer (6071) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 30, 2013
Draft. Pours hazy, dark gold with a creamy white head. Minimal lacing. Smells like pumpkin, cookie and caramel malts, earthy hops, spice, and light straw. Tastes sweet, and malty with some pumpkin, straw, and faint hops. Sweet finish. Light body and low carbonation. jrodooo5 (1718) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Whoa - too over the top spice heavy! Aroma has a nice blend of fall spices. Th pour is appropriately rustic orange but w/out a head or much lacing. The taste starts out rather nice and smooth but finishes with way too much cinnamon possibly? Whatever the spice is, it’s too much and completely unbalances this beer. Ehh

Bottle pour..copper like red tint..1 finger head..nose of predominantly nutmeg..Cinnamon..slight pumpkin but barely..mouthfeel is slightly oily with a not very full flavored finish..picking up some of the ginger..which comes across as a spicy candied ginger which is odd and seems to takeover where more pumpkin would be better.. hfmejias (1297) - Marshall, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2013
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours dark amber, clear, small off white head. Aroma of spices, pumpkin, malts and some honey. Taste is sweet, mostly malty with some hints of pumpkin and spices. Very nice seasonal beer, enjoyable. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - JUN 21, 2013
THOUGHTS: Overly sweet. The honey almost made it seem more like a spiced apple cider or apple pie beer than a pumpkin beer. An interesting beer, but it would be better with something to balance the sweetness. Not the most pumpkiny of pumpkin beers.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy, medium, slightly brownish, orange with a large, off-white head that kept a decent sheet. The aroma had caramel, apple, lots of honey, sweet pumpkin and pumpkin pie. The initial flavor was moderately sweet and slightly acidic; while the finish was heavily sweet, slightly bitter and ever so slightly sour. There was honey, very sweet pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, slight sour pumpkin, and apple. The medium body was dry with lightly fizzy carbonation and a dry finish. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Bottle:   Amberish, on the orange side, thin frothy white head, little lacing.   Pumpkin pie spiced aroma, even the crust.   Similar tongue, slightly tart, soft sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with the usual cinnamon and nutmeg.   Seems like a solid example. kerenmk (5169) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 28, 2013
Bottle. Beer of the month club. Pours rusty, cloudy with white head. Allspice, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and fruit aroma. Ripe banana, sweet and spicy taste. Medium body, malty aftertaste, peppery finish, mind carbonation.
