355mL. Pour is a clear amber generating a massive, large bubbled, ice cream scoop, yellow head. Excellent retention. Lacing looks soapy and weak rather than sheety and full. Nose is really off- no infection but heavy trash and metals. Lots of old character- definitely past its prime. Taste is dishwater and soap to the max finishing with metals and heavy iron and copper. Really just disgusting. Drainpour. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 30, 2011
Brown-orange, off white cover. Aroma is buttery toast, caramel, apple. Taste is just metallic stale sweet malt. Some caramel, butter, fruit. Eh. arone12 (935) - Maryland, USA - JAN 23, 2011
Pours a cloudy brownish color with an off white head. Smells fairly malty. Has a slight hop aroma in there. Taste isn’t like a pale ale. Not horrible just not pale ale like. msante79 (2244) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - JUL 29, 2010
On tap at brewpub in Annapolis. Pours clear light copper with white head. Aroma of caramel malts, light hops, and light citrus. Flavors of caramel malt, medium hop bitterness, and a bit of citrus. Decent house pale ale. brainlair (236) - Maryland, USA - JUN 17, 2010
On tap at Ram’s Head in Annapolis. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a bit of white head. Aroma is off, with some nasty cereal and old malt. Flavor has bitter malt and slightly soapy citrus. Finish is extremely bitter, but that helps hide the other (unpleasant) flavors.
