Draft. Poured hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose was hopcitrus, mild wheat, pale malt, zesty citrus. Tasted citric, with dry hops, some fruit notes, and a complex and smooth finish. jeremytoni (3079) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - MAR 9, 2014
From the tap poured a straw color with a good amount of head. Nice light hoppy flavor with a quick finish. callmemickey (4549) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Hazy straw-orange body, creamy white head, nice sticky lacing. Soft floral and citric hop notes, a fair bit of grainy cereals, a touch of popped popcorn. Medium bodied, gentle carbonation (cask), muted/muddled finish. A rare pale ale miss for F&M. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 19, 2014
murky gold, tons of lacing all over dirty glass from puffy head. skunky nose is full dirty sock mosaic, lightly buttery with considerable grains. Stinging oils flavor, dirty fruit and pine, soft bitterness through the end.

On cask at the brewpub. I’m not sure why I left behind stunning British cask ales for heavy handed American hops. There’s such a world of difference. This blasts through with strong bitterness. The glowing panoply of tropical fruits that is Mosaic is somehow lost in translation, with the sensation being more of bitter pine and sweetgrass. The body doesn’t hold up to the hops with this one and while I can see the popularity of this in the aroma, flavor, and overall hoppiness, I find it unbalanced compared to the other session ales. >> Pours a low haze, glowing straw with excellent cask foam- surprising for an American brewery. Nose is diacetyl, kettle corn, some fresh juicy hops in the background. Taste is caramel popcorn, mild apple, grassy bitterness, dry finish.
