Cask pour. Light golden pour with white head. Simple light hops with pilsner malt aromas. Flavor is very reminiscent of a light prima pils.

translucent gold amber, thin white head, puffy lacing all over. Muddled butter and wood nose, light dough and spicing. Tea bitterness front palate, thin body with soft carbonation brings more wood and honey suckle mid, tons of dough trough the soft, quickly dead finish.

Draft at brewpub. Pours hazy golden with white head. Nose is mildly yeasty malt, hops. Tasted hoppy, crisp, medium and lively on the palate, with finishing hopcitrus, mild funk and floral notes. Slight finishing fruity tartness.

Cask at the brewpub. Waxy, fresh herbal aroma. Clean and grainy. This beer is stunning, partly because it’s the perfect meeting of condition, style, and my taste. The cask warmth, the freshness, and the delicious woody hops make this intensely drinkable and satisfyingly complex, even at 3%. The hops present oolong, steeped pine, and almonds. The hop flavors are totally different than what I’m used to and very satisfying. Bitter and dry. There’s no qualms about body, which says something at this gravity. The perfect beer at the perfect time in the perfect shape. Wow. This experience is unique.

>> Clear orange pour with good cask foam. Nose is diacetyl, toffee, herbal tea. Taste is clean lemon tea, honey roll, toffee. Clean, soft palate with moderate bitterness. Fairly true to style but Bitter as a style is...not the best.

Lightly hazy, straw-colored body, medium sized creamy white head, dense lacing. Toasted cereals, grass, herbal tea, and light citrus. Clean, light bodied, gentle carbonation (on cask), light bitterness, refreshing.
