Definitely the real deal here. Let’s step past the perfect presentation of golden color, white fine foam... Excellent use of the Dupont yeast with full dupont aromatics in the pastoral, heather, earthy range with a minimized phenolic side. This marries well with a solid edge of Noble hop bitterness and lightly floral and herbaceous qualities of this compact, well structured beer. corby112 (2813) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 5, 2012
Draft at The Boilermaker in Philadelphia, PA.
Pours a hazy golden orange color with bright yellow edges and a one finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Splotches of soapy lacing left behind.
Musty brett aroma with farmhouse funk, zesty spice, bready yeast and light fruit. Really nice brett presence that compliments the barnyard yeast notes really well. Slightly bready with hints of coriander, apple, banana and pear but the wild yeast dominates the nose.
Medium bodied with a dry, slightly tart brett presence that lingers over the funky farmhouse yeast, zesty spice and light fruit notes into a dry finish. Strong musty brett character with dry effervescence followed by bread, earthy saison yeast, citrus fruit and spicy pepper. Really refreshing but a bit heavy on the brett flavor, slightly overpowering the other notes.

Hazy golden body, foamy white head, streaky lacing. Nose shows a light musty farmhouse funk, and grainy, citric, and peppery yeast notes. Medium bodied, good carbonation, refreshing, dry finish. Quality bretted-saison. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - JAN 31, 2013
On tap at the source last weekend, and then served from a growler into a Forest & Main pint glass.
Pours a clear golden with visible carbonation. Nice white head with a good retention time and nice lacing on the way down. The nose is slightly grainy and backed by a bit of pepper and spice. The flavor is crisp and grainy, backed with subtle spice and yeast notes.
Light body and fairly-heavy carbonation. Really easy to drink. Mild, but fantastic for the session saison that it is. devman171 (1223) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - JUN 1, 2014
20oz draft pours thick cloudy pale yellow with white head. Aroma is some mix of saison yeast with light clove and hefe banana. Taste is full bodied for the style with a creamy light banana and spice flavors, almost cream soda like. crushed my 20 oz in a few min

Pours an orange gold with a thick white head. Aroma is funk, stonefruit and grain. Taste is stonefruit, pineapple and passion fruit, finishes bitter and dry. So tasty, I could drink this regularly. Capa (3631) - DC, Washington DC, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Copper with a white head. Spicy, slight sweet caramel, a bit sweet. Lightly dry. Quite a nice saison. I would drink this all afternoon if I could. Jesterdeal (1986) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - APR 30, 2014
4oz pour at the Fare. This was a treat. Aroma of banana, lemon, cornmeal, and barnyard. Pours really murky with a weird peach blonde color, almost like an unfiltered apple cider. Taste is lemon zest, barnyard, banana, slight nutmeg, and pepper. Very light and nice with some kickass taste. Reminds me of a really well-made grissette.
