hazy amber, thick dense white cap. Caramel and toast nose, some sweetness. Flavor bitter up front, dark grains and roast, mid palate showing more grains, light sugar in some dough, lightly grassy bitterness and even chocolate notes . Finishes chalky in bitterness, very dry, lasting dark grain notes are prominent but not integrated or well rounded, watery body unsupportive.
On tap, pours clearish mahogany with creamy off white head. It’s ultra light and pretzeled out yo. Clean but very lacking in hops but thats probably what they were aiming for. Lots of malt, play dough, and undercooked bread. pilgrimoutlaw (888) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 15, 2013

Cask flight at the brewpub. Dark honey colored pour with a clingy white head. Buttery aroma. Flavor is buttery but with a strong dose of bitingly bitter hops. More "Americanized" than Poor Yorick. Thin but creamy mouthfeel. A good session beer.
