rand (1770) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 26, 2013

(Bottle, Poechenellekelder, Brussels, 21 July 2012) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with coffee, caramel, liquorice and herbal hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, liquorice, dried fruit and a slightly herbal bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Very nice and tasty.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Thompson.Slightly hazy deep dark red color, small to medium sized light brown head that lasts for quite a while. Smell malts, herbs or spices, soap, perfume: just a really weird mix. Taste malts, herbs or spices again, some sweetness, slightly sour hints. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Thompson (710) - - MAY 31, 2012
Average beige/white head. nice dark red/brown colour. Very sharp smell maybe herbs also somewhat sour. Taste also gives clues to herbs, reminds me of oregano from my local pizarria. overall not to bad colour is great just to much hints of herbs or spices. Drank at the lair od the evil beer baron benzai.

Bart (2936) - Brussels, BELGIUM - APR 4, 2012
Bottle @ home. Darker brown coloured beer with some light carbonation and a small off white head. Rather spicy (warm winter spices). Full creamy palate. Finish is strong spicy, malty slightly roasted and somewhat alcoholic. Lots of flavour. Nice.
