vickey9 (999) - Brussels, - MAR 9, 2013
Red brown color, beige head. Nose is medicinal, tincture, fernet. Carbon seems to be high, body thin and texture soft. Taste is sour. Palate like in pharmacy, chicory and herbs liquere. Bitter finish. [email protected]

Icedwarf (1657) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2016

kermis (13482) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 21, 2016
Bottle shared, as usual with a cute label of an elf with big eyes looking seductively at you while you’re worrying about what has just been poured into your glass. The beer is a slight hazy brown with a small short lived tan head. Aromas of malt, toffee, butterscotch, caramel, light herbal notes and yeast. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Not so bad this one, but pretty one dimensional.

33cl bottle shared with Kermis. Thin off white head. Clear amber pour. A bit sweet but ok.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2015 Bottle, 33cL. Home. Beautiful & funny label with a young forest elve. Behind, this could be the old abbey of Orval. A clear brown beer with mahogany hues ; stormy bubbly ; big beige head ; medium retention. Roast, toast, spice, caramel, grape, light metallic, alcohol. Light to medium sweet, light dry bitter refreshing, warming background. Medium body, medium texture, light silky, toasty sweet spicy finish. Overall, a pleasant dark brown spicy toasty belgian ale.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Modeste 2015. Red amber, small tanned head. Nose is metallic BE syrup, caramel, sugar, heavily sweet. Taste is huge sweetness, BE syrup, cough syrup, caramel, herbal syrup. Taste is BE-style cough syrup. Far too sweet but not too bad as a beer. Okay.

ruigo (3000) - PORTUGAL - JUL 29, 2015
33cl bottle. Slightly hazy dark brown colour with a small off-white head. Malty, yeasty, fruity and spicy aroma. Average to soft carbonation and medium to full body. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with some fruity notes and a dry finish. Overall, an interesting beer.

Erzengel (8768) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JUL 16, 2015
*Old rating, best before 06.2013. Nettes, tief dunkles, malzig-erdiges Bier.

EddyBeer1 (1058) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 30, 2015
Brune rougeâtre voilée, effervescence moyenne, col beige foncé trop abondant. Plutôt maltée, légèrement torréfiée, fruits noirs, toast, un peu aqueuse, toute petite amertume.

3.4
Yves (3042) - Turnhout, BELGIUM - NOV 14, 2014
Alone at home. Brown colored beer with large off-white head and lots of carbonation. Malty spiced aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hopped malty roasted spicy ending dry.
