Faroese: Classic er ein frísk, aromatisk bjór við góðum humlusmakki. Classic er bryggjað við myrkum malti, ið gevur ein eyðkendan malt- og karamelsmakk.

English: Föroya Bjór Classic is darker and tastes more of malt than Vedraöl. The flavour is balanced with a good taste of hops. The beer goes well with food, especially powerful meat courses and spicy food from the Far East.

Bottle. 4.6%. Best before 26.01.13. Pours a clear, dull golden with an off-white head. Decent lacing. Sweetish, fruity, cereal aroma with a hint of hops. Notes of grass as it warms. Flavour is malt and cereals with remote metallic and cardboard overtones, the latter increasing as it warms. Light grainy note. Finish is a bit grainy, dryish and has a mild hop bitterness. Overall mediocre. 16.11.12.

Bottle. Pours clear darkish amber. Aroma is softly floral, mostly toasted malts though. Body is medium, sweet, also some candy like dried apple aroma. Soft carbonation, some caramel. Okay.

Bottle, many thanks Patricia! Clear amber color with cremy off-white head. Aroma is buttered caramel, fudge, grassy. Taste is caramel, bonbon, apple candy ("Saure Apfelringe"). Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Funny.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2017 En meget almindelig pilsner. Let ristet smag der dog forsvinder hurtigt. Ikke meget humle.

Backlog; DWF Klar mørk med litt skum som forsvant fort.Aroma gress , smak karamell smør. Ikke god.

sihan (16) - - APR 2, 2017
Slightly off-putting smell of caramel/fruit. Light taste at odds with darker (for a lager) appearance. Basically fine, though.

Nevalainen (858) - FINLAND - JAN 20, 2017
Clear amber color with tiny head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Low carbonation. Taste has notes of caramel, and it’s little sweet. A little bit better than pilsner.

SVD (2265) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 24, 2016
Dark golden, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel. Taste is the same and sweet. meh
