Amber color with a brown shade; medium sized head. Light caramel and cereals aroma. Correct brew, with a plain caramel flavor, correct bitterness, but balanced. The final is a bit metallic.
clear brown, smooth offwhite head.
flavor is sweet caramelly, dry, faint bitter from hops, faint sugary, nice sweet malty, good christmas brew on the sweet side. Plovmand (8317) - Helsinge, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2010
Bottle. Thanks Faroe. Deep amber body with a medium off white head. Fruity aroma with some caramel and light dusty hops. The flavour is caramel, malt and dark fruit. Zita (6324) - Assentoft, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2010
light sweat malty, red brown, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, oily feel, soft carbonation, a thin chrismas beer. KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - JAN 2, 2010
Clear amber with a medium beige head. Sweet malty aroma with loads of caramel character. Again loads of caramelic malt in the flavour along with grassy hops that gave it a bitter finish. Very sweet flavour though.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Cupper coloured. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Very light caramellic. Light bitter flavor. Strange lemon notes. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Boring. cgarvieuk (24536) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 6, 2008
Bottle at home ... copper ...sweet malty with little hop ... sweet fruity malts ... little toffee ... little metallic. Ok but nothing special Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2008
Tasted side by side with Viking Jolabjor from Iceland. It’s a dark golden beer with a small, but firm head. The aroma is sweetish and malty with notes of Werthers Echte toffee. The flavour is sweet and smooth and surprisingly full-bodied with toffee notes and a slightly dry and bitter finish. It’s not very complex, but it’s harmonic, uncomplicated and charming - so the Faroe Islands won! fonefan (49437) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2008
Bottle. Clear light to medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate yeasty, toffee, notes of butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (231207)
