Erzengel (9467) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 10, 2017
Dry beginning. Typical for what it is - dry dark roasted grain, grainy bitterness with a great stout body. Easy to drink with lots of dry burned roast, caramel and a dry bitter roasted aftertaste.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2017 Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla, liquorice, some dark fruits. Taste is milk chocolate, liquorice, some roasted malts, bready, earthy. Low carbonation, silky mouthfeel, a bit watery. Not bad!

I bought this bottle at beerlovers in Vienns. I drank it relax at home. In my point of view, it is a regular stout, easy to drink for the beginners. This one is dry and the body as usual is a beautiful and deep black color, creamy and white/brown foam, carbonation regular for the style but lower than a lager. The taste is with roasted malt, coffee, little vanilla, hop and a bit watery, it is not the stout with the strongest personality that I drank in my life but it is a good one.

330 ml bottle. Dark brown to nearly black colour, big creamy head fully lasting, good lacing, soft carbonation. Nose is sweetish roasted malt, toffee, dark chocolate. Flavour is pretty sweet at the beginning, then follows coffee aroma and an explicit bitterness with some smoky notes. Long finish. Very good stout!

Saeglopur (2326) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - DEC 5, 2015
330 ml bottle from Grand Whisky, Vienna.
Black body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, toast, liquorice, caramel, some dark fruits.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes quite soft, roasty, dry, a bit alcohol warming, with toast, coffee, liquorice, suntle caramel.

Nice one. Quite light bodied, but with nice, dry roasty notes and a good balance. Not among my favourite Stouts from Austria, but really solid and drinkable.
