330mml bottle as part of the European Local Swap 3/2017, many thanks to herrklemann for this one. Tasted on the 04/11/2017 at home. Opaque brown colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of malts, dried fruits, minerals and some caramel. Taste is almost the same with a big presence of roasted malts and dried fruits. Full body and light bitter finish. Next one please! koleminer20 (3978) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUN 4, 2017
330 mL bottle at Brot & Spiele. The pour is a darker coppery brown with a thick light tan, almost frothy milk looking head that lingers forever. The aroma is malty and light but there is a sharp alcohol that comes in. It’s almost a little smoky, but I think it’s a strong roast or burnt malt. The flavor is more focused on the smoky, charred malts. There is a light caramel and a hint of alcohol, but this isn’t my thing at all. The mouth feel is thin and watery with a softer carbonation and a lingeringly potent charred malt and light alcohol. No thanks. SinH4 (6278) - Garching b. Mnchen, GERMANY - APR 1, 2017
Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Murky brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, earthy, some fruits as well. Taste is chocolate, bready, sweetish, a bit herbal-earthy. Fruity aftertaste. Medium to high carbonation, quite yeasty. Not bad! funcut (733) - SIBENIK, CROATIA - FEB 19, 2017

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2017 330 ml bottle. Pours brown with a light brown head and some particles. The aroma is malty with some light coffee and a little breadish with a slightly sour note. Medium body with very low carbonation and a silky feeling on the tongue. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter and lightly sour. Flavor of melon, ripe apples and pears and redcurrant along with Mocca and a little alcohol. Maybe a little to long lasting bitterness in the finish that reminds of dark bread crust.

This is where it all started for me, after cheaply done lager almost made me swear off beer.
The lovely brown colour, the big foamy head, the smell of fruits and coffee, the sweet and bitter taste of all before mentioned and the subtle bite of alcohol transported by this beers full body - it?s just really, really good. A beer to be remembered by.
